Master heaters and the event industry

The Showman’s Show, the annual trade show for the entertainment industry in Great Britain, highlights the services and products available for this growing market, and the presence of MCS at this years event, showcasing the popular and versatile Master range of space heaters, has been a great success.

The entertainment industry is not only about large venues and bright lights, typical with outdoor events and stadiums, but also smaller functions, including private weddings, where heating is an important issue.

Organisers can arrange the venue and entertainment, but the weather can not be controlled, and heating is essential to a successful outcome, whether you have 100 guests at a private function, or several thousand at a large concert. Mobile space heaters offer a wide range of heating options to suit all needs, they are easy and economical to run, and also offer safety, always of paramount importance.

The indirect oil heaters offer abundant clean heat whilst all gases are safely taken away by the exhaust flue, and ducting directs the hot air to where it’s needed, leaving no areas cold or unheated. Mobile indirect heaters have proved very popular in the UK market place, and are quick and easy to install, making heating any venue problem free. The heaters can be platform mounted to give them mobility for ease of use at different locations, and fuel is supplied from the integral fuel tank or from larger external tanks if necessary.

Many visitors to the MCS stand expressed an increasing interest in the Master BV heater range, especially the 20kW to 80kW models, with sturdy construction combined with good performance and efficiency, they are a useful addition or alternative to the heater brands already used throughout the entertainment market. The new Master XL5 model was also very popular amongst visitors, and whilst strict safety regulations preclude it’s use at large events, it is still a very good heating solution for smaller events and locations, such as recording studios and photo shoots.



The Showman’s Fair at Newbury proved that Master heaters have a wide application potential, not just limited to the construction and agricultural industries, but also suitable for the entertainment industry, with great potential for sales development. Master products meet virtually all safety requirements and specifications needed for use at both large and small venues and events, and there are opportunities for a strong presence in this ever expanding market.
